"High exposure" means a company has confirmed personal data may have reached an unauthorised party and the matter is still being investigated. "Contained" means the company reports the incident is closed with no confirmed misuse. A downgrade or escalation banner appears the day it's detected and stays until the following day's check, so a quick glance tells you what's new.
